Privacy Notice

This notice describes how ROYAL RENT SRL processes personal data collected through the website royalrentsrl.it, pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003.

2. Categories of data collected

Through the request and quote forms on the website we collect: name, phone number and email address. We do not collect or process special categories of data (Art. 9 GDPR). We do not use analytics, profiling or behavioural advertising tools.

3. Purposes of processing

Data is processed solely to: (a) reply to information, quote and booking requests; (b) carry out pre-contractual or contractual measures eventually entered into; (c) comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal basis

Processing is based on Art. 6.1.b GDPR (pre-contractual measures at the data subject's request) and, where applicable, Art. 6.1.c GDPR (legal obligations).

5. Processing methods

Data is processed with electronic tools, by authorised and trained staff, using technical and organisational measures appropriate to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability. We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.

6. Retention

Data collected through forms is retained for 24 months from the last contact, unless the request results in a contractual relationship: in that case the legal retention periods for commercial and tax records apply (10 years).

7. Communication and transfers

Data is not disseminated nor transferred to third parties for marketing purposes. It may be communicated to technical service providers (e.g. email and hosting providers) appointed as Processors under Art. 28 GDPR. Any transfer outside the EU only takes place towards countries with an adequacy decision or under standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

9. Complaint to the Supervisory Authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it) if you believe the processing infringes applicable law.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

The website does not use profiling, analytics or third-party cookies. Only a technical/functional cookie is used to store the user's language preference, which does not require consent under the Italian DPA's measure of 10 June 2021.
